BlackBizScope is a community-based initiative led by Pamela of Koils by Nature Adeea Rogers, The The Trendy Socialite and Christine of Moms 'N Charge. Every Friday from 10-11 AM EST and 6-8:00 PM EST, black owned businesses (product and service based) will have an opportunity to do a 15 minute scope using the Periscope Live Streaming App; about their business. During that time, EVERYONE in our community is in that scope--promoting, showing love and sharing. We want to intentionally and strategically support black owned businesses with our presence--actual and financial! Black featured in Huffington Post, MadameNoire.com & AtlantaBlackstar BlackBizScope was founded July 9, 2015, live on Periscope; since inception we've featured 500 businesses have over 200K live viewers. Our mission is to get more Black Owned Business on Periscope showcasing their products and services.

Adeea Rogers, also known as The Trendy Socialite - is a marketer, social media connoisseur, communications expert, experienced event host, webinar and workshop facilitator, and public speaker. Her calling is to help, empower and encourage others to develop and pursue their passions. Whether it’s natural hair advocacy, leadership lessons, or instruction in etiquette, Adeea uses her unique and systematic approach to processes, planning, and productivity to allow others to connect with their purpose and power. Adeea is adept at creating 3 things: leaders, community and movement. In 2012, Adeea used her 15 years of event planning experience to create International Natural Hair Meetup Day (INHMD). INHMD gives women around the world the opportunity to meet and network with others and share information, techniques, inspiration, and other beauty tips to guide each other in their natural hair journeys. Today, INHMD is the #1 multi-city celebration of the beauty, versatility, and out-and-out awesomeness of natural hair! She is also the founder of iGrind Naturally, a Facebook group for bloggers, vloggers, hairstylists, event planners, coaches, and consultants, where leaders in their fields gather together to share information and exchange ideas. Adeea has served as emcee at many events including Return of the Curls, Koils and Kocktails, the Oklahoma City Natural Hair Weekend and the Kansas City Natural Hair Show. Adeea also lends her voice on subjects like natural hair, purpose and leadership by speaking, serving on panels and leading workshops at events such as the Bella Kinks DFW Natural Hair Expo and the Natural Power of Her Curl Passion Brunch. By day, Adeea is the Assistant Director of Marketing for the Student Involvement and Leadership Marketing Office at her Alma Mater, East Carolina University. She also oversees several initiatives including the Pledge Purple—a weeklong initiative to bring advocacy and awareness to sexual violence, bullying and harassment and the Clinton Global Initiative University.

Christine St.Vil is a wife, homeschooling mother of three, a speaker, blogger, author and trainer. After losing her own identity to motherhood, Christine is relentless about helping women, particularly moms, take charge of their lives by learning how to feel good without feeling guilty. In addition to her own blog, you can also find her writing about marriage and children on popular blogs BlackAndMarriedWithKids.com and HappyWivesClub.com. Through her work with Moms ‘N Charge®, Purpose Driven Media™, LLC (PDM) was created. PDM is on a mission to teach women entrepreneurs how to successfully leverage social media to start and/or grow their business and brand, while still being a great mom, wife, sister, or friend. Through her transformational book, live courses, workshops and consulting, PDM walks women through discovering and defining your life purpose, as well as making sure their business message aligns with that purpose. A sought-after social media expert and speaker with her own rapidly-growing blog, Christine has spoken at numerous events and conferences on blogging and social media, including Niche Parent Conference at Disney, NAACP Convention, and Steve Harvey’s Act Like a Success Conference. She has also partnered and worked with organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Highlights for Children, Needs Brand (Tia and Tamera Mowry) and more to create successful digital media strategies/campaigns to promote and extend their brands. In addition to these opportunities, Christine partnered with Relativity Media and Gina Prince-Bythewood (Director of Beyond the Lights movie) to execute the official Twitter party to raise awareness, and increase box office sales for opening weekend of Beyond The Lights. Christine has worked with notable brands such as GMC, State Farm, Hilton Hotels, Hershey Park, Fandango and more. Christine was selected to participate in a White House Social, for social media influencers to watch the State of the Union Address in January 2015, live from the White House. In Spring 2013, she was a featured panelist at the Fifth Annual Get RADICAL Women’s Conference, where keynote speakers included Jillian Michaels, Lisa Nichols, and Guiliana Rancic. And in 2014, she was a featured breakout speaker of the same conference. Christine co-authored her first highly acclaimed book, Whose Shoes Are You Wearing? 12 Steps to Uncovering the Woman You Really Want to Be in 2014, and has been featured in numerous local and national TV and online media outlets (including VOA, Fox 5 DC, Fox 45 Baltimore, WHUR, Huffington Post Live, Huffington Post, Madame Noire, Atlanta Black Star, AllParenting.com, Sirrius XM, amongst others). She received her BS in Biology from Marymount University.
